Rakhi Sawant Faces Non-Bailable Warrant In 2010 Suicide Case

A court in Jhansi has issued a non-bailable warrant against actor Rakhi Sawant. The warrant was issued on Friday after she repeatedly failed to appear before the court. The case stems from alleged insulting remarks Sawant made on her television show, 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf', in October 2010. These remarks allegedly led to the suicide of Laxman Ahirwar on November 10, 2010. Ahirwar's mother had filed a complaint against Sawant for the objectionable language used. The next hearing is scheduled for December 1.

झांसी की एक अदालत ने अभिनेत्री राखी सावंत के खिलाफ गैर-जमानती वारंट जारी किया है। यह वारंट शुक्रवार को तब जारी किया गया जब वह बार-बार अदालत में पेश नहीं हुईं। यह मामला कथित तौर पर सावंत द्वारा अक्टूबर 2010 में अपने टेलीविज़न शो 'राखी का इंसाफ' में की गई अपमानजनक टिप्पणियों से जुड़ा है। इन टिप्पणियों के कारण कथित तौर पर 10 नवंबर 2010 को लक्ष्मण अहिरवार ने आत्महत्या कर ली थी। अहिरवार की माँ ने आपत्तिजनक भाषा के इस्तेमाल के लिए सावंत के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। अगली सुनवाई 1 दिसंबर को होनी है।
