Alwar district has seen the highest increase, with 461 cases this year compared to 165 last year. Health officials note a concerning spread of the infection from rural to urban areas, suggesting exposure in city parks and gardens. Scrub typhus, transmitted by infected mites, typically causes fever and rash, and early treatment is crucial to prevent complications.
