BJP Criticises Kerala Assembly Resolution Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar

The BJP has criticised a resolution passed by the Kerala Assembly seeking the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the special intensive revision of electoral rolls. BJP state chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar described the move as political theatre by the Congress and CPM, arguing that the assembly should not have addressed a matter pending before the Supreme Court. He alleged that the Congress and CPM, rivals in Kerala, unite after elections.

भाजपा ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान 2024 को हटाने की मांग करने वाले केरल विधानसभा के प्रस्ताव की आलोचना की है। यह प्रस्ताव मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन संशोधन को लेकर पारित किया गया था। भाजपा के प्रदेश प्रमुख राजीव चंद्रशेखर ने इस कदम को कांग्रेस और सीपीएम द्वारा राजनीतिक नौटंकी बताया। उन्होंने तर्क दिया कि विधानसभा को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में लंबित मामले को नहीं उठाना चाहिए था। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि केरल में प्रतिद्वंद्वी कांग्रेस और सीपीएम चुनाव के बाद एकजुट हो जाते हैं।
