आई.आई.टी. मद्रास ने चार डीपटेक स्टार्टअप्स में ₹55 करोड़ के निवेश की घोषणा की है। ये स्टार्टअप्स क्रायोजेनिक रॉकेट इंजन, क्वांटम ऐप्लिकेशन्स, हाई-परफॉरमेंस लिथियम-आयन बैटरी सेल और एयर प्यूरिफिकेशन सिस्टम जैसे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में काम कर रहे हैं। यह निवेश आई.आई.टी.-एम रिसर्च पार्क के डीपटेक वेंचर कैपिटल फंड का हिस्सा है, जिसने ₹450 करोड़ पर अपना पहला क्लोज पूरा कर लिया है और इसका लक्ष्य ₹1,000 करोड़ जुटाना है। इस फंड का इरादा डिफेंस, स्पेस, सेमीकंडक्टर और AI जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में स्टार्टअप्स का समर्थन करना है, जिससे भारत की तकनीकी आत्मनिर्भरता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
