Times of India · politics

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, likening him to a failing student who makes excuses. Adityanath accused both the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) of undermining constitutional institutions and obstructing the country's development after losing public support. He further alleged that these parties are driven by dynastic politics and are campaigning to save their families, not democracy. Adityanath invoked the Emergency and past controversies to question the opposition's democratic credentials, contrasting them with the BJP-led government's focus on development and national security.
