Visa is collaborating with BILL Holdings Inc and Billtrust to enable artificial intelligence agents to initiate and complete business invoice payments without human intervention. This new solution, currently in pilot mode, aims to streamline the often tedious process of manually reviewing and paying business invoices. BILL's AI agent will use tokenised credentials and payment instructions to transact on behalf of businesses, with Billtrust facilitating the payment completion via Visa's technology.
