A former British Army chef, Mark Broadhurst, 28, has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison for possessing weapons for "terrorist purposes." Police discovered a cache of weapons, including knives, crossbows, and an improvised cannon, at his home in September 2024. Broadhurst was also linked to an online chat group whose members were jailed for planning attacks on mosques or synagogues.
