Delhi-NCR Pollution Control: Strict Measures Planned For Winter Season

Delhi's Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a virtual meeting with senior traffic police officials from Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram, Sonipat, and Bahadurgarh to prepare for winter pollution control. The meeting focused on strengthening inter-state coordination and effectively implementing the GRAP and CAQM guidelines. Key measures discussed include improving traffic management to reduce jams, stricter enforcement of PUC rules, and diverting heavy vehicles away from Delhi.

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री मंजीत सिंह सिरसा ने सर्दियों में प्रदूषण से निपटने की तैयारी के लिए नोएडा, फरीदाबाद, गुरुग्राम, सोनीपत और बहादुरगढ़ के वरिष्ठ यातायात पुलिस अधिकारियों के साथ एक वर्चुअल मीटिंग की। इस मीटिंग में GRAP और CAQM के दिशानिर्देशों को प्रभावी ढंग से लागू करने और राज्यों के बीच तालमेल को मजबूत करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। चर्चा किए गए मुख्य उपायों में जाम को कम करने के लिए यातायात प्रबंधन में सुधार, PUC नियमों का कड़ाई से पालन और दिल्ली से भारी वाहनों को हटाना शामिल है।
