A special court in Nagpur has sentenced four men to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment each and two others to seven years for trafficking and repeatedly sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman in 2022. The victim was allegedly lured to Jaipur with a job offer, confined, threatened, forcibly married, and subjected to torture. The court convicted the accused based on witness testimony and evidence presented by the prosecution. The case involved charges of abduction, wrongful confinement, trafficking, repeated rape, and criminal intimidation.

नागपुर की एक विशेष अदालत ने 2022 में एक 21 वर्षीय महिला की तस्करी और बार-बार यौन उत्पीड़न करने के आरोप में चार पुरुषों को 20 साल की कठोर कारावास की सज़ा सुनाई है, जबकि दो अन्य को सात साल की सज़ा दी गई है। आरोप है कि पीड़िता को नौकरी का झांसा देकर जयपुर ले जाया गया, वहां बंधक बनाया, धमकी दी, जबरन शादी कराई और यातनाएं दी गईं। अदालत ने अभियोजन पक्ष द्वारा पेश की गई गवाही और सबूतों के आधार पर आरोपियों को दोषी ठहराया। इस मामले में अपहरण, गलत तरीके से बंधक बनाना, तस्करी, बार-बार बलात्कार और आपराधिक धमकी जैसे आरोप शामिल थे।
