The sole survivor of the Guwahati hotel firing incident, which resulted in five fatalities, has been released from the hospital. Doctors confirmed he responded well to treatment and is stable, though he will need about a week to resume normal work. The incident occurred on October 26 over a dispute between the hotel owners and its leaseholder regarding management. The prime accused, who was the leaseholder, was killed in a police encounter earlier this week while attempting to escape custody.
