Delhi-NCR Faces 15-Day Construction Ban From Nov 5 To Combat Pollution

The entire Delhi-NCR region will implement a complete ban on construction and demolition activities from November 5 to 20. This measure is part of intensified efforts by the Centre to tackle rising winter pollution levels. Union environment minister Bhupender Yadav also confirmed that restrictions on older vehicles entering Delhi will not be rolled back. The announcement aligns with Delhi's permanent winter anti-pollution framework, which consolidates seasonal rules for November 1 to February 28.
