CRPF Head Constable Injured In Grenade Attack On Manipur Outpost

A 40-year-old CRPF head constable, Dhananjoy Rai, sustained splinter injuries in a grenade attack on a Rapid Action Force outpost in Manipur's Imphal East district on Thursday night. Unidentified individuals hurled the grenade at the outpost gate around 9 pm, causing injuries to Rai, who is from Uttar Pradesh. He was initially treated at JNIMS hospital before being referred to Shija Hospital, where he is currently in the ICU under ventilator support. Authorities have launched a search operation and are investigating the motive and perpetrators behind the attack.

गुरुवार रात मणिपुर के इम्फाल ईस्ट जिले में एक रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स चौकी पर हुए ग्रेनेड हमले में 40 वर्षीय सीआरपीएफ हेड कांस्टेबल धनंजय राय को छर्रे लगने से चोटें आईं। अज्ञात व्यक्तियों ने रात करीब 9 बजे चौकी के गेट पर ग्रेनेड फेंका, जिससे उत्तर प्रदेश निवासी राय घायल हो गए। उनका इलाज पहले जेएनआईएमएस अस्पताल में किया गया, जिसके बाद उन्हें शिज्जा अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया, जहाँ वह वर्तमान में वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट पर आईसीयू में हैं। अधिकारियों ने तलाशी अभियान शुरू कर दिया है और हमले के पीछे के मकसद और अपराधियों की जांच कर रहे हैं।
