UN: US Boat Strikes May Be Crimes

A United Nations report states that US strikes on alleged drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific are illegal and may constitute crimes against humanity. UN Special Rapporteur Ben Saul found these attacks, which killed at least 223 people from September last year to August, involved the illegal use of disproportionate force. The report concluded the strikes violate the right to life and have failed to prevent drug flow into the US.
