Keralam Forest Dept Launches Operation to Tranquilise and Capture Rogue Elephant KM-1

The Keralam Forest department has initiated an operation to tranquillise and capture KM-1, a male elephant that entered the Aralam Rehabilitation Area. A team of 100 forest personnel, including veterinarians and a darting unit, has been deployed for the task. Efforts are underway to drive the elephant towards a designated 18-acre area. A prohibitory order has been imposed in parts of Aralam, restricting public gatherings during the operation to ensure safety and facilitate the process.
