Eurozone government bond yields saw a slight decrease on Thursday, influenced by stabilising oil prices after recent declines. Investors are also reassessing the potential impact of the US midterm election results on geopolitical tensions, particularly concerning Iran. Germany's benchmark 10-year bond yield fell, as did the more rate-sensitive two-year yield. Meanwhile, market expectations for a December European Central Bank rate hike slightly softened, though policymakers have not ruled out further increases depending on economic data.
