Kerala's First Vistadome Coach To Offer Panoramic Rail Travel

Kerala is set to launch its first Vistadome coach on the Kollam–Sengottai route starting October 22. Attached to the Madurai–Guruvayur Express, this coach features large glass windows and rotating seats for panoramic views of the Western Ghats. The service aims to enhance the travel experience along the scenic Sengottai–Punalur ghat section, connecting Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The basic fare is ₹515, with the full route costing ₹1,875. This new attraction is expected to boost tourism by offering a unique way to appreciate the region's natural beauty.
