PhonePe to Hire 20,000, Deploy 5 Million Devices

Digital payments firm PhonePe plans to hire over 20,000 frontline sales personnel and deploy 5 million payment devices in the next 12 months. Approximately 50% of these devices will be deployed in rural India, aiming to deepen digital payment acceptance in smaller towns and villages. This expansion is supported by the new MDR framework and labour codes, enabling PhonePe to reach more merchants, onboard them onto digital payments, and provide ongoing support.

डिजिटल पेमेंट कंपनी PhonePe अगले 12 महीनों में 20,000 से ज़्यादा सेल्स स्टाफ रखने और 50 लाख पेमेंट डिवाइस लगाने की तैयारी में है। इनमें से आधे डिवाइस ग्रामीण भारत में लगाए जाएंगे, ताकि छोटे शहरों और गांवों में डिजिटल पेमेंट को बढ़ावा मिले। नए MDR फ्रेमवर्क और लेबर कोड से PhonePe को ज़्यादा मर्चेंट तक पहुंचने, उन्हें डिजिटल पेमेंट से जोड़ने और मदद करने में आसानी होगी।
