Both Ukraine and Russia have reported cyberattacks targeting their emergency alert applications. Ukraine's air force stated that an air raid alert app was compromised, leading to the dissemination of fake alerts to smartphones. This comes as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries if the US provides Patriot missiles. He indicated that Ukraine would cease refinery attacks for a month if the US supplied the missile systems for the same duration, emphasizing a need for reciprocal action regarding energy infrastructure.
