Indian automotive technology companies have successfully raised $1.3 billion through 97 funding rounds in 2026 so far, as reported by Tracxn. This figure represents a decrease compared to the $2.1 billion raised across 195 rounds in the entirety of 2025. Major funding rounds included Rapido's $240 million, Simple Energy's $180 million, and River's $102 million. Ten significant funding rounds, each exceeding $34 million, accounted for approximately 70% of the total capital raised, highlighting a trend towards larger investments in the sector.
