SC Collegium Approves 12 Additional Judges

The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of 12 additional judges as permanent judges in four high courts: Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Uttarakhand, and Gauhati. The decision was made during a meeting on Wednesday. Five additional judges were confirmed for the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Additionally, five judges were approved for the Kerala High Court, one for Uttarakhand, and one for Gauhati High Court, strengthening the judiciary.
