IGL Partners Northern Railway to Replace LPG and Diesel with PNG at 22 Delhi-NCR Sites

Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has signed an agreement with the Northern Railway's Delhi Division to substitute LPG and diesel with piped natural gas (PNG) at 22 railway establishments across Delhi-NCR. Initially, IGL will supply 3,000 standard cubic metres of natural gas daily, replacing approximately 500 kg of LPG and 2,500 litres of diesel. This initiative aims to expand natural gas adoption and reduce dependence on imported fuels, covering facilities like laundries, kitchens, and rest houses.
