Noida's Air Quality Hits Severe Levels Amid Toxic Haze

Noida's air quality index (AQI) has reached severe levels, with the Sector 62 monitoring station recording an AQI of 411. While the city's overall AQI improved marginally to 291 on Tuesday, it remains on the edge of the 'very poor' category. Delhi's AQI also worsened to 350. Experts attribute the deteriorating air quality to unfavorable weather conditions for pollutant dispersal and anticipate it will remain poor or severe for the next six days. Stubble burning is expected to contribute significantly to the pollution.

नोएडा की हवा की क्वालिटी गंभीर स्तर पर पहुंच गई है। सेक्टर 62 मॉनिटरिंग स्टेशन पर AQI 411 दर्ज किया गया। हालांकि, मंगलवार को शहर का ओवरऑल AQI थोड़ा सुधरकर 291 हो गया, लेकिन यह अभी भी 'बहुत खराब' कैटेगरी के किनारे पर है। दिल्ली का AQI भी बढ़कर 350 हो गया। एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि खराब मौसम की वजह से प्रदूषण के फैलाव में दिक्कत हो रही है और अगले 6 दिनों तक हवा की क्वालिटी खराब या गंभीर बनी रहने की उम्मीद है। पराली जलाने से भी प्रदूषण बढ़ने की आशंका है।
