Santos suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and meniscal tear after a tackle by Le Havre's Amir Richardson. Lille believes the tackle warranted a red card and has asked the league's governing body to review the incident. The club is also seeking an explanation for the video review process and reserves the right to pursue legal action for compensation.
