The Karnataka State Travel Operators’ Association has requested the government to waive entry tax, road tax, and special permit fees for tourist vehicles from neighbouring states during the Mysuru Dasara festival. This exemption, previously granted in recent years, aims to make travel to Karnataka more convenient for tourists. The association believes this measure will significantly benefit the tourism, transport, hospitality, and local business sectors during the peak festival season. Mysuru Dasara attracts a large number of visitors annually, making such incentives crucial for boosting the local economy.

कर्नाटक स्टेट ट्रैवल ऑपरेटर्स एसोसिएशन ने सरकार से मैसूर दशहरा उत्सव के दौरान पड़ोसी राज्यों से आने वाले पर्यटक वाहनों के लिए एंट्री टैक्स, रोड टैक्स और स्पेशल परमिट फीस माफ करने का अनुरोध किया है। यह छूट, जो हाल के वर्षों में पहले भी दी गई है, पर्यटकों के लिए कर्नाटक की यात्रा को और सुविधाजनक बनाने के उद्देश्य से है। एसोसिएशन का मानना है कि यह कदम पीक फेस्टिवल सीजन के दौरान पर्यटन, परिवहन, हॉस्पिटैलिटी और स्थानीय व्यापार क्षेत्रों को काफी फायदा पहुंचाएगा। मैसूर दशहरा सालाना बड़ी संख्या में आगंतुकों को आकर्षित करता है, जिससे स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को बढ़ावा देने के लिए ऐसे प्रोत्साहन महत्वपूर्ण हो जाते हैं।
