The "Agent Profiles" feature, rolling out next month, will let shoppers authorize AI agents, track purchases, and set spending limits. The "Walmart Agent Gateway" platform enables AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini to connect directly with Walmart and Sam's Club systems. Customers will retain control, with AI agents barred from accessing payment card data and subject to blocking for rule violations.
