India to Sell ₹33,000 Crore in Dated Securities

The Government of India has announced the sale of four dated securities totaling ₹33,000 crore. These include a 6.20% GS 2029 for ₹9,000 crore, a 6.57% GS 2033 for ₹12,000 crore, a 7.63% GS 2056 for ₹9,000 crore, and a 7.50% GOI SGrB 2056 for ₹3,000 crore. The auction will be conducted via a multiple price method on October 1, 2026. The government retains the option to retain an additional ₹2,000 crore for each security. This move aims to manage government borrowing and fund its expenditures.

भारत सरकार ने ₹33,000 करोड़ के चार सरकारी बॉन्ड बेचने का ऐलान किया है। इनमें ₹9,000 करोड़ का 6.20% GS 2029, ₹12,000 करोड़ का 6.57% GS 2033, ₹9,000 करोड़ का 7.63% GS 2056, और ₹3,000 करोड़ का 7.50% GOI SGrB 2056 शामिल हैं। नीलामी 1 अक्टूबर 2026 को मल्टीपल प्राइस मेथड से होगी। सरकार हर बॉन्ड के लिए ₹2,000 करोड़ अतिरिक्त रखने का विकल्प भी रखेगी। इस कदम का मकसद सरकारी उधारी का प्रबंधन करना और खर्चों को पूरा करना है।
