Allahabad HC Seeks MBBS Admission Data On Quota Seats From UP Govt

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has directed the Uttar Pradesh government to disclose the number of reserved-category candidates admitted to MBBS courses in four government medical colleges. The court seeks data on admissions, and thereafter. This directive came while hearing a special appeal concerning reservation in medical admissions in Ambedkar Nagar, Kannauj, Saharanpur, and Jalaun medical colleges. The court was informed that no reserved-category candidate was admitted in excess of the prescribed percentage after an interim order was passed.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को चार सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेजों में आरक्षित श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों के MBBS कोर्स में हुए एडमिशन की संख्या बताने का निर्देश दिया है। कोर्ट एडमिशन और उसके बाद का डेटा चाहता है। यह निर्देश अंबेडकर नगर, कन्नौज, सहारनपुर और जालौन मेडिकल कॉलेजों में मेडिकल एडमिशन में आरक्षण से जुड़े एक विशेष अपील की सुनवाई के दौरान आया। कोर्ट को बताया गया कि एक अंतरिम आदेश पारित होने के बाद निर्धारित प्रतिशत से अधिक आरक्षित श्रेणी के किसी भी उम्मीदवार का एडमिशन नहीं हुआ है।
