Patna Multi-Modal Hub to Get Automated Paid Parking

Patna's multi-modal hub near GPO roundabout will implement an automated paid parking system starting in October. Patna Smart City Limited is handing over operations to a private agency, which will manage the facility and its 440-metre subway. The system will use sensors and ANPR cameras for ticket generation, with monthly passes available for regular users. The multi-level parking can accommodate 225 cars, and a separate rotary facility will park 96 motorcycles. This initiative aims to streamline parking and traffic flow around the transport hub.
