One victim lost Rs 4.79 lakh after downloading a fraudulent APK file disguised as a traffic challan, leading to unauthorized access to his bank account. Another individual was defrauded of Rs 1.75 lakh by a caller posing as an insurance representative who obtained her credit card details.

कोयंबटूर जिला साइबर क्राइम पुलिस ने ऑनलाइन वित्तीय धोखाधड़ी से जुड़े तीन अलग-अलग मामले दर्ज किए हैं, जिनकी कुल राशि 7.79 लाख रुपये है। एक पीड़ित ने ट्रैफिक चालान के रूप में भेष बदले एक धोखाधड़ी वाले एपीके फाइल को डाउनलोड करने के बाद 4.79 लाख रुपये खो दिए, जिससे उसके बैंक खाते तक अनधिकृत पहुंच हो गई। एक अन्य व्यक्ति को एक बीमा प्रतिनिधि के रूप में पेश करने वाले कॉलर ने 1.75 लाख रुपये की ठगी की, जिसने उसके क्रेडिट कार्ड का विवरण प्राप्त कर लिया।
