Indian Rupee Falls Amid Dollar Strength

The Indian rupee declined by 3 paise to 95.91 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday. This fall was attributed to a strong American currency and the outflow of foreign funds, alongside elevated crude oil prices due to West Asian tensions. However, domestic equity markets provided some support, with the BSE Sensex rising 242 points and the NSE Nifty gaining 57 points. Markets remain cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision.
