Congress MLC Accused of Assaulting Hescom Officials

Two Hescom officials have accused Congress MLC Channaraj Hattiholi of assaulting them in Belagavi. The officials allege the MLC became angry after power supply was disconnected to a follower's business firm due to unpaid electricity bills totaling ₹77,360. The MLC reportedly summoned the officials to his residence, abused, and assaulted them. Hescom staff protested demanding an FIR. Hattiholi denies the assault, stating he only persuaded officials to restore power, promising bill settlement.

बेलगावी में दो हेस्कोम अधिकारियों ने कांग्रेस एमएलसी चन्नराज हत्तिहोली पर मारपीट का आरोप लगाया है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि एक समर्थक की फर्म में ₹77,360 का बिजली बिल बकाया होने पर बिजली काट दी गई थी, जिससे एमएलसी नाराज हो गए। आरोप है कि एमएलसी ने अधिकारियों को घर बुलाकर गाली-गलौज और मारपीट की। हेस्कोम कर्मचारियों ने एफआईआर की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। हत्तिहोली ने मारपीट से इनकार किया है, कहा कि उन्होंने सिर्फ बिल चुकाने का वादा कर बिजली बहाल करने को कहा था।
