Yadadri Power Plant Faces Coal Quality Burden

YTPS in Nalgonda district is proving to be a significant financial burden on the state. The plant requires 14 million tonnes of G9 grade coal annually, but Singareni mines produce only 4 million tonnes. The previous government's decision to establish the plant without securing adequate coal supply is cited as the primary reason. This coal shortage, coupled with the plant's location 270 km from mines, is expected.

यादगिरी पावर प्लांट पर कोयले की गुणवत्ता का बोझ

तेलंगाना के नालगोंडा जिले में स्थित YTPS प्लांट राज्य पर भारी आर्थिक बोझ बन गया है। इस प्लांट को सालाना 14 मिलियन टन G9 ग्रेड कोयले की ज़रूरत है, जबकि सिंगारेनी खदानों से केवल 4 मिलियन टन ही मिल पाता है। पिछली सरकार ने पर्याप्त कोयला आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित किए बिना ही प्लांट लगाने का फैसला किया था, जो अब भारी पड़ रहा है। खदानों से 270 किमी दूर प्लांट का होना भी इस समस्या को बढ़ा रहा है।
