Turkiye To Withdraw Troops From Iraqi Base

Turkiye will gradually withdraw its forces from the strategic Bashiqa military base in northern Iraq and hand over control to the Iraqi government. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Iraq pledged to remove armed groups considered security threats by Turkiye from the Sinjar region.

तुर्किये उत्तरी इराक के बाशिका सैन्य अड्डे से धीरे-धीरे अपनी सेना हटाएगा और नियंत्रण इराकी सरकार को सौंप देगा। यह फैसला तुर्किये के राष्ट्रपति रेसेप तैयप एर्दोगन और इराकी प्रधानमंत्री अली अल-ज़ैदी की संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के इतर हुई मुलाकात में हुआ। इराक ने तुर्किये के लिए खतरा माने जाने वाले सशस्त्र समूहों को शिनजार क्षेत्र से हटाने का वादा किया है।
