New York City has introduced a groundbreaking "Click-to-Cancel" rule, requiring streaming services like Netflix and Amazon to allow customers to cancel subscriptions as easily as they sign up. Effective October 1, the rule prohibits phone-only cancellations and hidden obstacles.
