Gangster Shot Dead 10 Days After Jail Release in Rampur

A 30-year-old gangster with over 16 criminal cases, including robbery and firing, was shot dead by three motorcycle-borne assailants in Rampur's Bilaspur area. The victim, Sandeep Chauhan alias Sunny, was killed just 10 days after his release from jail, where he had spent four months. He sustained three bullet injuries and was declared dead at a community health centre. Police suspect the murder may be linked to an old enmity, and have deployed field units and dog squads for the investigation.

लूट और फायरिंग जैसे 16 से ज़्यादा आपराधिक मामलों वाला 30 वर्षीय गैंगस्टर संदीप चौहान उर्फ सनी, रामपुर के बिलासपुर इलाके में तीन बाइक सवार हमलावरों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। वह जेल से सिर्फ 10 दिन पहले ही छूटा था, जहाँ वह चार महीने से बंद था। उसे तीन गोलियां लगी थीं और सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। पुलिस को शक है कि यह हत्या पुरानी रंजिश का नतीजा हो सकती है, और जांच के लिए फील्ड यूनिट और डॉग स्क्वाड तैनात कर दिए गए हैं।
