Veteran Attacked By Parking Staff In Gurugram

A Kargil War veteran, Group Captain Amit Kumar Gupta (retired), was attacked with an iron rod by a parking attendant at a Gurugram mall. Gupta recounted that he was denied parking and then assaulted when he protested. The attendant allegedly threatened to kill him. Gupta sustained a broken hand and head injuries, requiring surgery. He claimed police response was delayed and the initial medical report was inaccurate.

गुरुग्राम के एक मॉल में कारगिल युद्ध के एक पूर्व सैनिक, ग्रुप कैप्टन अमित कुमार गुप्ता (रिटायर्ड) पर पार्किंग अटेंडेंट ने लोहे की रॉड से हमला कर दिया। गुप्ता ने बताया कि उन्हें पार्किंग नहीं दी गई और विरोध करने पर पीटा गया। अटेंडेंट ने जान से मारने की धमकी भी दी। गुप्ता का हाथ टूट गया और सिर में चोट आई, जिसके लिए सर्जरी करनी पड़ी। उन्होंने पुलिस की देरी और शुरुआती मेडिकल रिपोर्ट में गड़बड़ी का भी आरोप लगाया।
