Court Rejects Maulana's Bail Plea in Umesh Kolhe Murder Case

A special court in Mumbai has rejected the bail application of a Maulana accused in the Umesh Kolhe murder case for the second time. The court remarked that the accused was shedding 'crocodile tears' for a speedy trial, calling it a mockery. The judge noted that the delay in proceedings was caused by the 11 accused themselves, who have filed multiple bail and discharge petitions. The NIA alleges the Maulana is the main conspirator behind the chemist's murder, allegedly for sharing a social media post supporting Nupur Sharma.

मुंबई की एक विशेष अदालत ने उमेश कोल्हे हत्या मामले में आरोपी मौलाना की जमानत अर्जी दूसरी बार खारिज कर दी है। अदालत ने टिप्पणी की कि आरोपी तेज सुनवाई के लिए 'मगरमच्छ के आंसू' बहा रहा था, इसे मजाक बताया। जज ने कहा कि कार्यवाही में देरी खुद 11 आरोपियों के कारण हुई है, जिन्होंने कई जमानत और डिस्चार्ज याचिकाएं दायर की हैं। एनआईए का आरोप है कि मौलाना केमिस्ट की हत्या का मुख्य साजिशकर्ता है, कथित तौर पर नूपुर शर्मा के समर्थन में सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट साझा करने के लिए।
