Bengaluru Metro's Orange Line to Feature Flyovers and Underpass to Ease Traffic

BMRCL has finalised plans for double-decker flyovers and an underpass along the proposed Orange Line to alleviate traffic congestion on Outer Ring Road and Magadi Road. Key infrastructure projects include a 1.3km double-decker structure at Sarakki Junction and a 4km structure near Kadabagere on Magadi Road. An underpass is planned at Goraguntepalya to manage traffic where the Orange Line crosses the Green Line. These measures aim to improve traffic flow at critical junctions and reduce bottlenecks, paving the way for Phase 3 construction.

BMRCL ने आउटर रिंग रोड और मगदी रोड पर ट्रैफिक जाम को कम करने के लिए प्रस्तावित ऑरेंज लाइन के साथ डबल-डेकर फ्लाईओवर और एक अंडरपास की योजना को अंतिम रूप दे दिया है। प्रमुख बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं में सरक्की जंक्शन पर 1.3 किमी का डबल-डेकर स्ट्रक्चर और मगदी रोड पर कडाबगेरे के पास 4 किमी का स्ट्रक्चर शामिल है। गोरगुंटेपाल्या में एक अंडरपास की योजना बनाई गई है ताकि ऑरेंज लाइन के ग्रीन लाइन को पार करने वाले ट्रैफिक को संभाला जा सके। इन उपायों का उद्देश्य महत्वपूर्ण जंक्शनों पर ट्रैफिक प्रवाह में सुधार करना और बाधाओं को कम करना है, जिससे फेज 3 के निर्माण का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो सके।
