The fifth edition of the Gandhisagar Forest Retreat has opened, transforming the backwaters of the dam in Mandsaur district into an adventure tourism destination. The retreat offers a "luxury tent city" concept, combining outdoor activities with comfortable amenities. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of adventure sports, including paramotoring, jet skis, kayaking, ziplines, and ATV rides. The event also features jungle safaris, cultural programs showcasing Madhya Pradesh's folk arts, and traditional cuisine. Since its 2023 launch, the retreat has boosted visitor numbers, spending, and employment in the region.
