This acquisition integrates RUCK’s specialised phaco-vitrectomy technology into Appasamy’s portfolio, enhancing its capabilities in cataract and vitreoretinal surgeries. The deal aims to strengthen Appasamy’s offerings and expand access to RUCK’s advanced surgical systems globally. Appasamy plans to retain RUCK’s engineering operations in Germany, leveraging its expertise to meet the growing demand for dependable eye surgery platforms in India and worldwide.
