उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पिछली समाजवादी पार्टी की सरकारों पर नीति और नीयत की कमी का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन सरकारों ने माफिया को संस्थाओं पर कब्जा करने दिया और शिक्षा व्यवस्था को बर्बाद कर दिया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि अयोग्य लोगों को महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर नियुक्त किया गया, और एक उदाहरण दिया कि कैसे एक UPPSC अध्यक्ष के पास बुनियादी योग्यताएं नहीं थीं। आदित्यनाथ ने आगे दावा किया कि परीक्षाओं में बड़े पैमाने पर अनियमितताएं हुईं, और ऐसे लोगों को नियुक्ति पत्र जारी किए गए जो कभी परीक्षा में बैठे ही नहीं थे।
