Home Guard Jawan Dies in Barrack Firing; Colleague Absconds

A 25-year-old home guard jawan, Monal Rai, died after being shot inside the barracks of Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district late Sunday night. The jawan allegedly involved in the firing, Ritu Kumar, is absconding. Rai was shot on the right side of his chest and died en route to the hospital. The Bhojpur SP visited the spot, and an FSL team collected evidence. Police are investigating whether the firing was accidental or deliberate, with eyewitnesses being questioned. The weapon has been secured for investigation.

होमगार्ड जवान की बैरक में गोली लगने से मौत साथी जवान फरार

रविवार देर रात भोजपुर जिले के संदेश थाना की बैरक में गोली लगने से 25 वर्षीय होमगार्ड जवान मोनल राय की मौत हो गई। गोली चलाने में कथित तौर पर शामिल जवान रितु कुमार फरार है। राय को दाहिनी छाती में गोली लगी थी और अस्पताल ले जाते समय उसकी मौत हो गई। भोजपुर एसपी ने मौके का दौरा किया और एफएसएल टीम ने सबूत इकट्ठा किए। पुलिस जांच कर रही है कि गोली गलती से चली या जानबूझकर, और प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है। जांच के लिए हथियार जब्त कर लिया गया है।
