The National Stock Exchange (NSE) recorded a turnover of ₹16,613 crore during its closing auction session on Thursday. This surge was primarily driven by the rebalancing of FTSE indices, which prompted passive funds to adjust their India allocations. This marks the second-highest turnover since the closing auction session was introduced, following the record activity seen during the MSCI rebalancing on August 31.

गुरुवार को नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (NSE) में क्लोजिंग ऑक्शन सेशन के दौरान ₹16,613 करोड़ का भारी टर्नओवर हुआ। यह उछाल मुख्य रूप से FTSE इंडेक्स के रीबैलेंसिंग के कारण आया, जिससे पैसिव फंड्स को अपने इंडिया एलोकेशन में बदलाव करना पड़ा। यह क्लोजिंग ऑक्शन सेशन शुरू होने के बाद दूसरा सबसे बड़ा टर्नओवर है, जो 31 अगस्त को MSCI रीबैलेंसिंग के दौरान देखे गए रिकॉर्ड से थोड़ा कम है।
