Tripura DGP Anurag Dhankar Found Dead In Office

Tripura Director General of Police Anurag Dhankar was discovered deceased in his office toilet on Monday. A magisterial inquiry has been initiated to investigate the circumstances of his death. The government observed a day of state mourning for the officer. Additional DGP Goduguluri Srinivasa Rao has taken over as the acting police chief.

त्रिपुरा के पुलिस महानिदेशक (DGP) अनुराग धनखड़ सोमवार को अपने दफ्तर के टॉयलेट में मृत पाए गए। उनकी मौत के कारणों की जांच के लिए मजिस्ट्रेट जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। सरकार ने अधिकारी के सम्मान में एक दिन का राजकीय शोक घोषित किया। एडिशनल डीजीपी गोडुगुलुरी श्रीनिवास राव ने कार्यवाहक पुलिस प्रमुख का पदभार संभाल लिया है।
