Uttar Pradesh minister Anil Rajbhar stated that the four central labour codes will significantly enhance the ease of doing business in India and the state. The government aims to protect workers' interests while fostering a favourable industrial environment. Uttar Pradesh has been recognised for registering the most new factories for two consecutive years. The new codes consolidate labour laws, simplify compliance, and extend social security to gig and platform workers through a digital database.
