The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the Centre and Meta regarding a plea against the blocking of the Instagram handle ‘Bring Back Ballot’. This account advocated for the use of paper ballots in elections and had over 50,000 followers. The petition alleges that the account's restriction in India was disproportionate and made without notice. The account operator, Mission Save Constitution, stated the handle was blocked on the day they planned a peaceful protest. The court has listed the case for further hearing on November 6.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने केंद्र और Meta को 'ब्रिंग बैक बैलेट' नामक इंस्टाग्राम हैंडल को ब्लॉक करने के खिलाफ दायर याचिका पर नोटिस जारी किया है। इस अकाउंट पर चुनावों में पेपर बैलेट के इस्तेमाल की वकालत की जाती थी और इसके 50,000 से ज़्यादा फॉलोअर्स थे। याचिका में आरोप लगाया गया है कि भारत में अकाउंट पर लगाया गया प्रतिबंध असंगत था और बिना नोटिस के लगाया गया। अकाउंट ऑपरेटर, मिशन सेव कॉन्स्टिट्यूशन, ने कहा कि जिस दिन उन्होंने शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन की योजना बनाई थी, उसी दिन हैंडल को ब्लॉक कर दिया गया था। कोर्ट ने मामले की अगली सुनवाई 6 नवंबर को तय की है।
