Roshibina Devi Denies Selection Controversy Role

Indian wushu player Roshibina Devi, who secured a second successive Asian Games silver, stated that the selection controversy was not her doing. She attributed the decision to the Wushu Association of India, asserting it was a good choice. Injured player Divyanshi Choudhary had accused the federation of favouritism and alleged Roshibina worked against her. The WAI presented Divyanshi's MRI report showing an ACL tear to justify the selection.

भारतीय वुशु खिलाड़ी रोशिबिना देवी ने कहा कि एशियाई खेलों में लगातार दूसरा सिल्वर मेडल जीतने के बाद चयन विवाद उनका किया धरा नहीं है। उन्होंने इसका ठीकरा वुशु एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया पर फोड़ा और कहा कि यह अच्छा फैसला था। चोटिल खिलाड़ी दिव्यांशी चौधरी ने संघ पर पक्षपात का आरोप लगाया था। WAI ने दिव्यांशी की ACL चोट वाली MRI रिपोर्ट दिखाकर चयन को सही ठहराया।
