डॉक्टरों से कथित मारपीट के आरोप में गिरफ्तार शिवसेना कॉर्पोरेटर रमेश म्हात्रे ने कल्याण कोर्ट में अपनी जमानत याचिका वापस ले ली है। दलीलें सुनने के बाद याचिका वापस ली गई, क्योंकि अभियोजन पक्ष ने मुख्य गवाहों के बयान दर्ज कराने की आवश्यकता बताई। म्हात्रे और अन्य पांच आरोपियों ने जमानत मांगी थी, लेकिन कोर्ट के आदेश जारी करने से पहले ही उनकी याचिकाएं वापस ले ली गईं। कोर्ट ने महत्वपूर्ण गवाहों की जांच पूरी होने के बाद उन्हें नई याचिकाएं दायर करने की अनुमति दी है। आगे की कार्यवाही लंबित रहने तक म्हात्रे आधारवाड़ी जेल में ही रहेंगे।
