India is integrating the supply and storage systems of its Army, Navy, and Air Force into a single network to enhance defence preparedness. Currently, separate inventory and supply systems lead to delays in coordination during emergencies. The Defence Ministry's Department of Military Affairs is developing a digital platform to provide real-time stock information across all services. This initiative aims to expedite, refine, and economize supplies during wartime or emergencies, preventing redundant purchases and ensuring timely delivery of essential items.
