Pak Drone Smuggling Network Busted, Family Held

Amritsar Rural police have dismantled a cross-border smuggling network operating via drones from Pakistan, arresting three family members. Over 10 kg of heroin and two assault rifles were seized from the accused, identified as Sandeep Singh, his wife Kamaljit Kaur, and her brother Bikramjit Singh. The group coordinated with foreign handlers to retrieve drug and weapon consignments dropped by drones. They had leased a guava orchard near the India-Pakistan border to use as a drop zone for these illegal activities.

अमृतसर देहात पुलिस ने पाकिस्तान से ड्रोन के ज़रिए चल रहे सीमा पार तस्करी के नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ किया है और तीन परिवार वालों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पकड़े गए संदीप सिंह, उनकी पत्नी कमलजीत कौर और उसके भाई बिक्रमजीत सिंह से 10 किलो से ज़्यादा हेरोइन और दो असॉल्ट राइफलें बरामद हुई हैं। यह गिरोह ड्रोन से गिराए गए ड्रग्स और हथियारों की खेप लेने के लिए विदेशी हैंडलर्स के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहा था। इन अवैध गतिविधियों के लिए उन्होंने भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा के पास एक अमरूद के बाग को लीज पर लिया था ताकि उसे ड्रॉप ज़ोन की तरह इस्तेमाल कर सकें।
